Lutheran Schools Association in partnership with the Hickinbotham Group are proud to announce the development of Liberty College, which will be providing birth to year 12 education to the community of Two Wells and surrounding district.

The College will be positioned on the western edge of the housing estate “Liberty Village” and occupy 30 acres of land. With direct access to the township, it will be a key educational hub for the local district.

It is intended that the College will open in 2019 and through staged development, provide education for more than 1000 students and employment for more than 150 staff.

Significant research and planning has occurred to ensure that the educational mission, vision, values and practices of the school are relevant to the needs of the community now and into the future.

It is envisioned that the College will accommodate learners of all ages with the core purpose of supporting their social, emotional, spiritual and academic development while also encouraging strong connections with the local community.

The vision for 21st century learning at the College includes a focus on entrepreneurial opportunities, enterprise development, inquiry/problem-focused learning, collaboration, authentic connections with the local community, and student wellbeing.

The design of the College will provide flexible learning spaces to facilitate active group engagement, independent quiet study, learning both inside and outside, performance and design, as well as access to a wide range of resources.

The Liberty College masterplan, buildings and landscape will be architecturally significant, offering an important civic presence while conveying the rich values of the College.

The planning committee of Liberty College are excited to be delivering this project to the community of Two Wells.
